Trademark around the world

No matter where your business will go around the world. Protect your brand name globally by simple online trademark registration in 190+ countries. Register your trademark worldwide using a mix of WIPO and direct filings. We carry out the process and make you successful around the globe. Let’s begin by making this thing very clear there is no such thing as a truly global trademark. Trademark registration is only valid in the countries in which an application has been filed and accepted. Hence, we strongly recommend registering the trademark in markets where you currently sell or plan to sell your products and services in the future.

Trademark rights are strictly territorial, and rights acquired in any country can only be protected in the original country of registration, and their rights are not recognized in other countries. At the global level, there are two choices: possibly you can file a trademark application with the trademark office of every country in which you are looking for insurance, or you can utilize WIPO’s (World Intellectual Property Office) Madrid System.

EU Trademark

A European Union trademark or EU trademark is a trademark that is pending registration or has been registered in the European Union as a whole (rather than on a national level within the EU).

The EU trademark system creates a unified trademark registration system in Europe, whereby one registration protects all member states of the EU. The EU trademark system is unitary. Thus, an objection against an EU trademark application in any member state can defeat the entire application, an EU trademark registration is enforceable in all member states.

The EU trademark system is administered by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), which is located in Alicante, Spain.

Information required for the registration of a trademark in the European Union:

  1. 1 copy of the applicant’s identity certificate;
  2. the applicant’s name and address
  3. the category and name of the goods/services to be protected;
  4. reproduction of the trademark.

EU: includes registration in 27 member countries and 3 categories.

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
